MTBI2 is the only Department of Defense organization that conducts clinical and translational research that spans all traumatic brain injury (TBI) severities and focuses on acute and subacute phases.
Our science tackles hard-hitting unanswered questions that prevent U.S. service members with TBIs from leading their healthiest and fullest lives possible.
Through research, we are working to develop objective diagnostic and prognostic indicators, as well as personalized treatment measures that’ll enable every service member who has experienced a TBI to quickly receive care tailored to them.
We study TBIs not for the sake of science, but for the sake of those who serve our Nation. That is our service. Service through Science.
