CLINICAL RESEARCH

The Military Traumatic Brain Injury Initiative (MTBI²)’s Clinical Research Division conducts an array of observational studies and interventional trials that aim to improve diagnostic and treatment outcomes for Service Members with traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Our studies are conducted at a variety of military treatment facilities, and civilian medical centers throughout the U.S.  MTBI²’s research is primarily focused on military personnel who have sustained a TBI, but several of our studies are also open to civilian volunteers.
